Remember Miss October??? Well we just finished up her 6 month photo shoot and she is simply stunning! I promise, I do not photoshop her eyes at all! They are naturally just that brilliant, it's unlike anything I have ever seen. And if she wasn't cute enough all on her own, her big sister Mia joined us for the first few photos.
I was also fortunate enough to photograph Miss L's parent's wedding so we went back to the spot of one of my favorite shots from that day too...check it out at the bottom.
I hope you can tell from these pictures how much fun these three girls are to be around. They took me back 25 years to a time I vividly remember what it was like being silly with my sister! We had a blast running around the fort in St. Augustine, blowing bubbles, twirling and making silly faces! Here is a little sneak peek of our fun afternoon:
This little guy has his days & nights mixed up...makes for a tired Mom & Dad, but makes one happy photographer :) Mr. C was the sleepiest, most cooperative baby I have ever photographed in my life!!! He was, in other words, perfect! I absolutely adore him and you could tell his parents are over them moon for him too. Here is a little cuteness overload...
So my husband thinks that I go a little too far when it comes to throwing a party, lol. I promised him for my son's birthday it would be a simple backyard party...and of course it was the most fun party ever!!! My kids (probably all kids) could care less about the decorations, if the invitation matches the table cloth or even if the house is cleaned for our guests. My son's only request was that we get a dunk tank...and so the idea for a Water Wars party started. As hard as I tried to get some decent pictures of the food/gift table set up, the day of the party we had 15-20 mph winds...the food was literally blowing off of the tables. So I snapped a few then we moved anything that wasn't tied down inside. Being the uber-organized person that I am, I set up stations and had a schedule (stop laughing) of things to do at the party. First was the dunk tank. Then we had slip 'n slide races. Finally we finished up with a huge water war including water balloons & water guns (hardly in pictures of this cause they started squirting me and I figured I better get my camera out of there!!!). The cake was red-velvet on the inside and covered in rock-candy on the outside. The blueberry jello cups and chocolate covered apples were both a big hit with the kids. Finally, with everyone sporting a custom made tattoo, they had a chance to stop in the photo booth. ***And for those who follow along the story of my son's first crush...yes, that is her...and they are adorable :)
It is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to the beautifully perfect Miss L. I was lucky enough to spend some time with her on her 1 week birthday. She was a perfect angel :) Mom and Dad are crazy in love with her and I think I was able to capture a hint of that indescribable feeling of pure love. I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek, she is such a blessing.
