During this crazy busy holiday photo season, having a chance to do a creative dance session was an absolute dream for me. The beautiful Miss E wanted a session to show off some of her crazy talented moves including those amazing pointe shoes. I had to stop a few times to just be in awe of her skills! Thank you guys for trusting me to capture this, it was complete joy for me to be involved! Here are just a few of my favorites...

I'm so excited to officially announce the details about the Creative Clicks Class! To kick it off, watch (and listen...I'm so in love with this song)!

Creative Clicks Class from Wendy Updegraff on Vimeo.

OK, onto the nitty gritty!

Who is this class for?
Anyone who wants to learn how to take better photographs with their dslr camera! I will get you out of automatic mode and into shooting how your camera is meant to be used. Anyone who wants to take better pictures, period. After this class, even your iphone pics will look better!

What will be covered?
A LOT! We will cover all of the techy camera terminology that actually helps you when you are taking pictures. You will be given everything in writing as well, including examples. Then we will have a short photo session to put everything we learned into use! We will also chat about FAQs that are most important to you.

How much does it cost?
If you sign up before February 1st, the cost is $150. After February 1st, the cost of the class goes up to $200. The entire balance is due at sign up in order to reserve your spot.

In the past 3 months it has been a whirlwind of celebrating around here. Lots of my clients on the Baby's First Year Plan reached their first year milestone where we like to celebrate with what else...cake!

Long time no see- Jacksonville Family Photographer

In 2012 I had 135 sessions!!! My head is still spinning a little from the holiday season but boy, I am feeling so blessed! I have been slacking on the blog...which hopefully will not be the case in 2013, I added it to my long list of new year's resolutions :) Another one of my NYR was to take more photographs of my own kids. That might sound odd to some but I feel like I didn't pick up my camera enough outside of sessions. They are growing up so fast. Every month I notice more changes. My goal is once a month I am going to take their pictures. My daughter is easier to convince so she was up for a few snaps today since we had perfectly overcast weather.

Young Love-Jacksonville Family Photographer

This is the busiest time of the year for me and it normally involves chasing lots of kiddos around in adorable outfits trying our best to get at least one perfect shot suitable for a Christmas card, lol! So it is always a bit of a treat for me to shoot adults sans kids at least every once in a while. I have two sessions I'm very proud to share! Hang on...there are a lot of pictures about to happen :)

First up, a couple celebrating their anniversary. They thought it would be fun to have a throw-back vintage shoot. At the very last minute, an awesome venue was made available for us to shoot in...my mouth hit the floor when I first walked in! A private hanger filled with vintage planes and cars??? Yes, thank you very much!

Next up, a newly engaged couple from Orlando who I met at the equally stunning Sea Island Golf Course. To say we had perfect weather would have been an understatement. I love being around engaged couples...they make each other laugh so easily and are super easy to photograph because their love (sorry to be cheesy) oozes out!
